Why the Dry Season Is the Best Time to Install Commercial Epoxy Floors
In South Florida the limiting factor isn't cold — it's humidity. From November through April, ambient RH drops, epoxy cures predictably, and crews hand the floor back sooner.

Why Purepoxy Top Coats with Torginol® Flakes (Stinder Blend) Are a Gold Standard for Long-Lasting Epoxy Floors
A Purepoxy top coat over Torginol® Stinder flakes is one of the most requested combinations in South Florida — and the reasons are as much about salt air and UV as they are about looks.

Why Epoxy Boss Doesn't Recommend Concrete Etching: Unveiling a Better Approach
Acid etching is the cheapest way to prepare a slab and the most common reason a garage floor peels within a year. Here's what it does and what we do instead.

Why Custom-Traction Epoxy Systems Are Taking Over in 2026
One traction level doesn't fit a whole building. Wash bays, restrooms and mechanical rooms each need a different grip — and in South Florida humidity, that stops being optional.

Project Review

We walk through the finished space with you to ensure satisfaction. After approval, the remaining 50% balance is collected and the project is officially completed.
I have several buildings on the property. Can you do them together?

Yes, and on larger lots it is usually the case. What we avoid is quoting them as one number, because those slabs were poured years apart and are rarely in the same condition.

Each one is assessed separately, then we sequence them in whatever order suits you.

My garage is newer. Does it still need full preparation?

Yes. A newer slab is usually in better condition, but the surface of fresh concrete is closed and a coating will not bond into it as it is.

Grinding opens the surface so the system anchors into the slab rather than sitting on top of it.

My house is older. Can you still coat the garage?

Usually yes. Age by itself is not the problem — moisture coming up through the slab is, and a lot of older houses here were built without a barrier underneath.

We check the slab before quoting. If the reading is high we put a barrier down first; if it is clean, nothing extra is needed.

My community has to approve the color. Is that a problem?

No, it comes up constantly and we plan for it. With the garage door open the floor counts as something the neighbors see, so the board usually wants to sign off on the color first.

We bring physical samples you can submit and schedule the install once you have approval, so the floor is never done twice.

My building has to approve the work first. Can you help with that?

Yes, and on most buildings it is expected. Management normally wants written approval and proof of insurance naming the association before anyone starts.

We provide the documents and phase the work so residents keep access while it is under way.

My garage is close to the water. Is that a problem?

Not a problem, but it does change what we put down. Salt in the air is hard on a coating, and the first place it shows is around the edges and the door line rather than in the middle of the floor.

Close to the water we use a topcoat made for that exposure and seal the edges properly instead of running the coating to the wall and calling it done.
