Boca Raton Garage Floor Coating - Full-Flake Epoxy and Polyaspartic System

A new garage slab may look clean, but bare concrete is porous and can absorb oil, tire residue, stormwater and other contaminants from its first day in service. Boca Raton garages must also contend with sustained heat, humidity, warm tires, wind-driven rain and strong sunlight at the overhead-door line. Moisture conditions within a slab-on-grade may not be visible at the surface, and installing a coating without evaluating the concrete can increase the risk of blistering, adhesion loss or premature failure. Protecting the slab early helps preserve the new concrete before staining, wear and contamination make preparation more extensive.
Epoxy Boss Florida begins with a slab-condition assessment and performs moisture testing when required by the proposed coating manufacturer or project conditions. The concrete is mechanically diamond-ground to remove weak surface material and create the profile required for adhesion. Minor cracks and surface defects are treated before a compatible basecoat is applied. Decorative vinyl flakes are then broadcast to full coverage, scraped and vacuumed after cure, and sealed beneath a clear polyaspartic topcoat. Where confirmed by the selected product’s technical data, an aliphatic polyaspartic finish provides improved color stability at the garage entrance, while fine aluminum oxide can be incorporated to create additional surface texture. The result is a seamless, easier-to-clean garage floor designed around the slab rather than a one-product-fits-all installation
