The western edge runs into acreage country. Lots get large and the buildings multiply: a garage, a detached building or two and a covered slab out back, rarely poured in the same decade.
Out here the surroundings are as much a factor as the concrete. Unpaved approaches mean dust and grit find their way onto a fresh floor, so containment and timing get planned in advance instead of being dealt with afterwards.
