Fort Lauderdale's working side runs along State Road 84 and 17th Street and out toward the port and airport — the oldest and hardest-used concrete in the city.
Most of it arrives with a history. Floors here have been patched, coated and re-coated over decades, so the first job is finding out what is actually down there and how much of it is still bonded. Everything above that gets decided once the slab has been read.
